Planting trees for environmental protection

Being a part of the activities to celebrate the 125th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2015), in the afternoon of May 19, 2015, the Executive Board of the Union launched the movement “Planting trees for environmental protection” in the school yard of Vien Dong College, Lot 2, Quang Trung Software City, Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12. The activities is to raise the awareness and to demonstrate the interest of Vien Dong College’s youths about environmental protection and a sustainable development.

The program has mobilized nearly 100 unionists from the Youth Unions, especially with the participation of the teachers and the Deans from many Faculties.

At the ceremony, the teachers and the Deans from many Faculties has made a speech to the unionists and the youths to emphasize the meaning and the importance of tree planting, tree care and protection as well as environmental protection, which play a big role to raise the youths’ awareness of the positive contribution promoting the movement “Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh's Moral Example”.
