On the morning of July 12, 2025, Vien Dong College held the Opening Ceremony for Phase 1 of the 2025 intake of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) (In-Service Education Program), hosted at Vien Dong College.

The event marks an important beginning in the academic journey of the new students and reaffirms the strong and sustainable partnership between the two reputable educational institutions.

During the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thy Lieu – Standing Vice Director of UEH Mekong – delivered congratulatory remarks to the new students. She emphasized:

“Today is a very meaningful day as we officially open Phase 1 of the 2025 university transfer program, VB1 (In-Service Education), between UEH and Vien Dong College. This is a valuable opportunity for students to enhance their academic qualifications, broaden their knowledge, and affirm their self-worth in a professional academic environment.”

She also affirmed:

“The collaboration between UEH Mekong – the unit assigned by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) to implement this joint program with Vien Dong College – provides a sustainable foundation for training, offering the best conditions for students to study and grow. Importantly, this program is 100% identical to the formal undergraduate program. The degree holds the same value as those awarded to students studying directly at UEH’s main campuses. The bachelor’s degree does not specify the mode of study and is issued directly by the President of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.”

Following her meaningful remarks, M.A., Ph.D. Candidate Tran Thanh Hai, representing Vien Dong College, also extended his congratulations.
