On the afternoon of February 28, amidst the vibrant atmosphere of early spring, nearly 200 staff, lecturers, and employees of Vien Dong College gathered for the 2026 New Year Kick-off – an annual event of special significance, marking the start of a new year filled with high expectations and determination for development

The gathering took place in a warm and formal setting. It served not only as an opportunity for early-year networking but also as a moment for the entire institution to reflect on the past journey, strengthen solidarity, and fuel motivation for the path ahead.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, the College Rector, extended his best New Year wishes to all staff and lecturers, while emphasizing the key strategic orientations for 2026.

Accordingly, the college will continue to focus on specific objectives: promoting innovation in training, mastering the digital environment, accelerating comprehensive digital transformation, pursuing sustainable development in alignment with international integration, and maintaining the title of a “High-Quality College.” These passionate insights and clear directions served as a vital compass, demonstrating the vision and resolve to lead the college into a more powerful stage of development.

The party atmosphere became more vibrant with early-spring networking activities, such as “lucky red envelopes” from the Board of Directors and the Trade Union, alongside a “Lucky Spin” program that brought much joy and laughter. Moments of raising glasses in celebration, sharing professional stories, and spreading team spirit contributed to tightening the bonds within the school family.

Notably, as the song “Noi Vong Tay Lon” (The Great Circle of Unity) played during the closing session, the entire hall sang along, creating an emotional mark of unity and shared resolve toward the future.

This year’s New Year celebration was even more meaningful with the presence of international lecturers from South Korea, the Philippines, and Germany. This diverse cultural convergence not only enriched the event’s atmosphere but also clearly affirmed the steps toward integration and internationalization in the college’s development strategy.
