Jubilant Atmosphere of Opening - Graduation Ceremony
and Teachers’ Day at Vien Dong College

During the academic year 2016 – 2017, Vien Dong College have reached many significant achievements, e.g. training quality improvement and comprehensive educational reform to catch up with the development trend of the fourth industrial revolution, or industry 4.0. Such changes are initiate steps for the school’s unceasing effort to further success. With a strong expectation for new educational fruitfulness both in quantity and quality, as well as joyfulness of well completing educational missions in the previous period, Vien Dong College solemnly celebrate the Opening – Graduation Ceremony and Teachers’ Day.

Attending the Ceremony is the presence of School Board Members of many High Schools, Executive Members of companies welcoming graduates to work for and giving scholarships to students, all lecturers and staff members of faculties, departments and centers, parents, graduates, students and freshmen.

At the ceremony, drumbeats announce the beginning of a new school year and welcome new students. Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, M.A – The school’s Rector states his determination of updating modern teaching methods, investing in facilities, innovating training systems, promoting practical subjects, reducing unnecessary subjects and so on. All these determinations are to implement the undertaking that no graduate from Vien Dong College is unemployed.

The college awards lecturers, faculties, departments and centers fully completing assigned tasks to recognize their achieved work, efforts and studies within the previous year. In addition, the School Union also remunerates individuals and groups having done well collective activities.

In the recent years, the College has had many agreements to supply qualified labor resources meeting demands of employers inside and outside the country. Today, in this meaningful ceremony, the College once again extends willingness to strengthen its cooperation with companies for the 2 primary purposes. The first is to help students have clear career orientation, give them real environment for enhancing their specialized competencies, and ensure the right jobs for them after their graduation. The second is to offer stable and competent human resources for employers’ seasonal and long-term recruitments.

Mr. Do Thien Quy (4^th, R) a business administration student graduating from the school in 2016, is now a Head of Sales Department of Viet-Viet Phat Co., Ltd. On this occasion, he represents his company to signs a long-term cooperative agreement with Vien Dong College. According to the agreement, the College will train and provide stable and competent human resources for the company.

Along with dedication of teachers, students at Vien Dong College strive constantly to reap highest learning achievements. For such hard efforts they have made, the College gives the total scholarship of 300 million VND to students having excellent and good final outcomes in the full course and the previous school year, students having highest marks in admission, poor students having good study outcomes, as well as excellent Youth Union members, volunteers, clubs and groups.

Especially, joy is doubled as the graduation ceremony for recent graduates also takes place on this significant day. More than 500 students of the 8^th training course (2014 – 2017) are honored to receive graduate certificates and congratulations from the School Board, lecturers and their parents.

The ceremony is ended with an impressive event, the launch of Spring Volunteer Campaign 2018. The campaign promises a meaningful and fresh success.

All teachers and students at Vien Dong College determine to make efforts on keeping and developing glorious achievements of previous generations by focusing on a strategic mission which will bring the school to a higher position as a top ranked training institute and a credible technology transferring organization in Hochiminh City and the whole country.
