To prepare for the upcoming admission season in 2018, choosing suitable schools to enroll and right vocational fields to follow is concerned by not only high school students also their whole-hearted teachers. The continued changes of enrollment regulations in the recent years such as giving Universities and Colleges freedom to decide their input standards put candidates in a complicated and confusing maze of looking for what fields to follow and where to enroll in. Therefore, high school teachers and educational organizations leaders from many areas of the country make their own visits to Universities and Colleges regardless of travelling difficulties in order to help students assure themselves of their choices.
With understanding and empathy, Vien Dong College sincerely welcomes leaders of the Department of Education and Training in Soc Trang Province and principals as well as vice- principals from 37 high schools, which offer studying environment to more than 27,000 candidates in their hard preparation for the 2018 National High School Graduation Examination, to observe and experience training quality at the school today, April 5th 2018.

Delegates from Soc Trang arrived the campus early in the morning to take their precise time learning Vien Dong College’s period of foundation and improvement. With constant efforts and innovative spirit, the school has become one of the fastest developing training institutes, which gives students benefits.
The school is young but has a large campus at Quang Trung Software City in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City and skills labs with enough equipment for students to practice.
All delegates take their chance to visit the whole campus. One of the outstanding features of the
campus building is that from its top, the school’s guests can catch the view of Ho Chi Minh City
and surrounding districts, e.g. Cu Chi, Hoc Mon.
On the 10th floors, they can see first-hand a hotel simulation room used for hospitality practice and have real experience about automatic toilets, high standard beds and other practical equipment devices. The room is vital for students’ competent skills.
In practice rooms, teachers cannot stand being surprised to recognize that many specialized skills
are not easy as they have imagined.
On every floor, delegates have varied experience, with different ways of feeling and aspects of knowledge, e.g. meticulousness in Electronics, sensitiveness in Economics, open-armed attitude in Hospitality, creativeness in Graphic Design, strong mind in Nursing. Their experience will support students in their hometown to decide suitable fields of study.
Before leaving the campus, the college’s guests enjoy food prepared by hospitality students. Although the food is not complex like what chefs in hotels and restaurants do, it is cooked with students’ hearts, which is what students practice under honest instruction from lecturers at Vien Dong College.
With an aim to give students best accommodation as studying far from homes, Vien Dong College actively contact Ministries and Departments in charge of Dormitory and Social Housing Project so that it can be started in October 2018 and completed in the end of 2019. In the very near future, all teachers and parents can feel at ease leaving students to follow their career dreams at Vien Dong College.
The visit ends with joyfulness when credibility, comfort and hope replace all worry. The meeting gives a significant mark for the cooperation of supplying the society with qualified human resources mastering their favored fields of study, and promises a bright future for the school’s potential students.
