The First Time of Welcoming Secondary Students and High School Freshmen
to Experience Majors at Vien Dong College

 

To implement a key event for students in their summer vacation, the Executive Board of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vien Dong College cooperate with its peer of District 12 to celebrate an event for secondary and high school students in the area to experience their chosen majors. The event is aimed to give secondary and high school students deep and clear understanding of social careers and help them form early direction for the future.

Vien Dong College has celebrated many events for senior students from high schools in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces to experience their chosen majors. However, it is the first time the school has welcomed such young students. It is a surprised that despite their young ages, they have concern and curiosity about their future careers. These young students are still provided with opportunities for their first-hand experience of many majors as other students, but there are slight adjustments match their ages.

This event particularly draws attention from Vietnam Television (VTV). Vien Dong College hopes the report made by VTV can help this event information spread to all general education students. The school always opens its gate for students who would like to experience their favorable majors and look for counsels about their future careers.
