Open Day 2018, an Annual Job Fair for Students from 2015

On Sunday, July 8^th 2018, the Open Day took place successfully in Vien Dong College. It not only attracted Vien Dong College students’ concern but also got lots of attention of outside students.

Since its first time, the Open Day has been attracting more and more employers, including 50 companies giving onsite recruitment as well as 60 companies giving offsite one, and almost 1,500 applicants from Vien Dong College, recent high school graduates and other schools around the city.

The candidates are recommended suitable careers before sending application forms to companies

Going along with the event, a seminar is also held every year with an aim to give useful instruction to students and their parents how to adjust expectations to Universities and Colleges, search the outcomes of the National Final Exam 2018, and send their enrollment application.

The Open Day was started with the opening speech given by Ms. Nguyen Hong Trang, Vice Rector of Vien Dong College

The representative of Minh Phúc Limited Company, Nam Long Phat one member Limited Company, USUB Limited Company, Dong Phuong Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank rewarded some scholarship for needy students.

The Open Day took place successfully and ended with the regret of students and their parents.  Vien Dong College expects that owing to the festival, all the students will find favorable majors and schools to promote their full abilities for the future jobs.

After listening to useful information shared by guest speakers, students and their parents have some questions for lecturers at various faculties: Business Administration, Faculty of Nursing, Information Technology, Hospitality Management, Marketing Management. Moreover, students directly observed and experienced classes of Vien Dong College as well as visited recruitment booths of companies and enterprises on the first and second floors of the campus.
