On the morning of November 15, Vien Dong College (CDV) solemnly organized the “Opening Ceremony for the 2025–2026 Academic Year and the Graduation Ceremony” in a formal and joyful atmosphere. This meaningful dual event not only welcomed new students but also honored the journey and efforts of the new graduates, officially presenting them with their prestigious diplomas.

The opening ceremony marked the beginning of a new journey of knowledge. The entire School Board, teachers, and especially the new students of Vien Dong College shared emotional moments together.

Master. Tran Thanh Hai – College Principal speaks at the ceremony
In his speech, Master Tran Thanh Hai – the College Principal, conveyed his belief and hope in a dynamic and creative generation of students. He emphasized the college’s commitment to constantly improving the quality of training, linking theory with practice.
The resounding beat of the commencement drum officially marked the start of the 2025–2026 academic year with many expectations for new success and achievements.

After a year of continuous dedication and effort, the entire faculty and staff of Vien Dong College received the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training for the college’s outstanding achievements in the emulation movement “Innovation and Creativity in Management, Teaching, and Learning” during the 2020–2025 period. This prestigious award recognized the school’s continuous innovation and perseverance throughout the years.

Mr. Phan Thanh Binh – Former Member of the Party Central Committee, Former Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, and Children, and Mr. Nguyen Hai Cuong – Chief of Office of the Department of Vocational and Continuing Education, Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), presented the MOET Minister’s Certificate of Merit decision to the College Board.

Mr. Le Thang Loi – Director of the Center for Education and Training Development in the South (MOET Office) and Mr. Duong Tri Dung – Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (DOET) presented the Emulation Flag of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee to the College Board for the achievement of being the leading unit in the 2024–2025 academic year’s emulation movement.
The school also honored individual lecturers, teachers and departmental units that achieved outstanding task completion and task completion titles, recognizing their dedicated teaching, research, and service over the past year.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Duyen – Secretary of the Trung My Tay Ward Party Committee, and Master Tran Thanh Hai – College Principal, presented awards to representatives of collectives that excellently completed tasks in the 2024–2025 academic year.

Mr. Le Thang Loi – Director of the Center for Education and Training Development in the South (Representative of the MOET Office) and Mr. Pham Phuong Binh – Deputy Head of the Department of Continuing, Vocational, and Higher Education – HCMC, presented awards to individual teachers who excellently completed tasks in the 2024–2025 academic year.
Alongside the efforts of the faculty, generations of Vien Dong students have consistently strived to achieve excellent academic results. Their accomplishments were proudly recognized during the ceremony.

In particular, the joy of the students was doubled when the farewell ceremony for the new graduates of the 16th cohort across all programs also took place on this important day. The new graduates of the 16th cohort were honored to receive their diplomas right at the ceremony and received congratulations from the School Board, teachers, and parents.

The 2025–2026 academic year opens with many challenges and opportunities. Vien Dong College continues to affirm its position as one of the leading vocational training institutions, providing high-quality human resources that meet the needs of businesses.
