The Vital Importance of First Aid in Schools

Recognizing this importance, Vien Dong College brought practical expertise to the students of District 12 VCEC, empowering them to stay calm and act effectively when faced with health emergencies.
Practical and Comprehensive Training Content
The workshop went beyond theory, focusing heavily on hands-on experience. Under the dedicated guidance of experts from Vien Dong College, students practiced core techniques including:
Basic First Aid Skills: Instructions on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and rescue breathing using modern mannequins.
Injury Management: How to handle choking, bleeding, sprains, fractures, and burns.
Health & Safety Awareness: Identifying abnormal physical signs and preventing common accidents in study and daily life.
The hall was equipped with specialized training models, allowing students to observe directly and perform maneuvers with high precision.
Strengthening Educational Partnerships
This program is a testament to the close cooperation between Vien Dong College and District 12 VCEC in the holistic development of students. Besides academic and vocational knowledge, equipping students with “soft skills” is a top priority to help them build a solid foundation for the future.
A representative from Vien Dong College shared: “Our goal is for every student to not only be professionally skilled but also to be a capable citizen who knows how to protect themselves and support the community in emergencies.”
The training session concluded successfully with an enthusiastic and serious atmosphere. These valuable lessons will undoubtedly serve as essential baggage, helping District 12 VCEC students feel more confident and secure in their learning environment.
