Vocational training in Germany is currently a new trend and a potential path for students after graduating from high school but do not choose to pursue a university degree. Grasping that trend and with many years of experience in the field of training human resources for domestic and foreign markets, on April 26, 2024, Vien Dong College in collaboration with the Center for Continuing Education of Soc Trang province organized a training cooperation signing ceremony witnessed by the leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Soc Trang province.

Attending the ceremony were distinguished delegates and guests, Mr. Chau Tuan Hong – Director of the Department of Education and Training of Soc Trang province, Mr. Ho Thanh Danh – Director of the Center for Continuing Education of Soc Trang province and representatives of departments and agencies of Soc Trang province. Representing Vien Dong College were Mr. Tran Thanh Hai – Principal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam – Germany Study Abroad Language Center, Mr. Matthias – German teacher, and leaders of departments, faculties and centers of Vien Dong College. In addition, the ceremony was also attended by the Board of Directors, representatives of many high schools and secondary schools across Soc Trang province to participate and learn about the Vocational Study Abroad program in Germany.

The ceremony took place in a joyful, open and cooperative atmosphere. Mr. Chau Tuan Hong – Director of the Department of Education and Training of Soc Trang province commented that after this cooperation signing ceremony, it will open up opportunities for economical and effective learning for generations of students in Soc Trang province. Students can learn German right in their home province without having to be away from their families with low tuition fees and a bright future career.

After the signing ceremony of the training cooperation, the delegates and distinguished guests visited two German classes located at the Soc Trang Continuing Education Center (Address: 719/3 Le Hong Phong, Ward 3, Soc Trang City) with more than 30 computers connected to the internet and a system of modern audio-visual equipment to help students learn German online as well as directly. With strong investment and long-term cooperation between the Vien Dong College and the Soc Trang Provincial Department of Education, it promises to help open the door to studying abroad for students under the Vocational Study Abroad program in the Federal Republic of Germany.
