On December 28^th 2019, the HCM City People’s Committee, Department of Information and Communication cooperated with Department of Science and Technology as well as Ho Chi Minh Computer Association (HCA) collaborated with Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) development MTV Co., Ltd. ; Young Science and Technology Development Center- HCMC Youth Union jointly organized “Ho Chi Minh City Information Technology – Artificial Intelligent Business Day 2019” with the featuring theme “ Updated Knowledge, Rapid Changes, Breakthrough Innovation”.

The purpose of this event is to affirm the importance of ICT, improvements and creativities in the development of Hochiminh City. It is a crucial part of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, which contribute towards change of HCMC into a smart city. At the same time, individuals not only evaluate the status as well as challenges of ICT business development around the city but also assess the method of improvement, creativity and seek solutions to promote ICT business and support them remain fast and sustainable. Thank to beneficial event, people can recognize how to ebtablish an innovative startup ecosystem, which enable us to come up with invention ideas and policy to push the development of digital economy and promote investment to new business models and start-ups in the ICT sectors.

Information Technology and Artificial Intelligent Business Day Opening Cerenomy.

The key highlight in the series of events “Ho Chi Minh Information Techonology and Artificial Intelligent Business Day 2019” is the meeting between the HCMC’s senior leaders and the college students for rewarding them with outstanding achievements in the AI research among universities. Under the direction of Chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, it consisted of:

-Meeting IT students and sharings ideas relating to AI;

-Discussing about AI solutions and its contribution to upgrade HCMC into a smart city;

-Encourging learners do more AI research and its application to real life;

-Showing senior leaders’s supporting policies from HCMC senior leaders;

-Rewarding excellent students in the AI research.

It proved that HCMC’s leaders always spread their vision and concern to IT industry in general and AI field specifically, which is a section of the city’s AI Development Program to accelerate the city’s ICT to development fast and stable as well as develop AI program to serve for a smart city.

At the same time, an exhibition with 64 booths, which represented the ecosystem of the IT industry, including major businesses with various fields, software, digital, hardware, start-ups, fintech businesses.
