Startup Kite 2022 is organized to promote entrepreneurship, a rewarding playground, stimulate creativity, and dynamic thinking, inspire business and equip knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship for students.
 
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Le Tan Dung said: “In order to promote and encourage the start-up movement in schools, on October 30, 2017, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. No. 1665/QD-TTG approving the Project "Supporting students and students to start a business by 2025". Implementing the Prime Minister's Decision, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs issued Decision No. 929/QD-LDTBXH approving the implementation plan of the Project "Supporting students and students to start a business up to 2025" in order to promote the spirit of self-employment. spirit of entrepreneurship, the spirit of actively seeking and self-employment of VET students after graduation. Moreover, this is also the promotion of TVET institutions that need to continuously innovate and improve quality, thereby taking measures and solutions, creating a favorable environment to arouse the spirit of entrepreneurship and creativity. in students and students. At the same time, it is also an important solution to call for businesses to connect more with TVET institutions, thereby promoting the incubation of innovative startups right in schools."

Startup Kite 2022 is organized to promote entrepreneurship, a rewarding playground, stimulate creativity, and dynamic thinking, inspire business and equip knowledge and skills entrepreneurship focus on students held from May 2022 to the present, through 3 rounds of competition: preliminary round, semi-final, and final round. The pre-qualification round (school level) was organized by vocational education institutions to mark and mark the exam, the organizers received impressive numbers such as 1,512 ideas and projects from pupils and students. vocational education shall be submitted to the Organizing Committee; There are 206 projects from 57 TVET institutes in 30 provinces and cities that have entered the semi-finals.
 
In the semi-final round, the teams will be able to present and give feedback in front of the jury. Since then, the jury has selected the TOP 80 best ideas and projects nationwide to compete in the final round in 3 days from November 25-27, 2022.
 
After 2 stages in the final round: Stage 1, the TOP 80 teams presented on stage in front of the Jury, and in Stage 2, the TOP 6 best teams selected from the TOP 80 in stage 1, participated. Fundraising (presentation and negotiation with investors) and case handling. Especially, after this competition, the excellent teams will be connected with businessmen by the Organizing Committee and guided to perfect project ideas.

At the Closing Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 37 prizes. Including 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, and 3 Third Prizes. The final first prize was awarded to the project unit of a group of students from the College of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City. The Second prizes belong to a group of students from Ly Tu Trong College in Ho Chi Minh City and a group of students from Vien Dong College. The Third prizes went to students from the College of Commerce, Ly Tu Trong College in Ho Chi Minh City, and FPT Polytechnic College, respectively.

 

At the program, the Organizing Committee also awarded certificates to the teams participating in the final round of Startup Kite 2022; Awarded certificates of merit to 18 TVET institutions with outstanding achievements in supporting entrepreneurship for students in 2022.

 

 

Participating in the competition, the DEFIMAPS project of students from Vien Dong College won the second prize in the top 07 Startup Kite 2022 projects included in the list of 7 projects officially calling for investors after being eliminated from 60 projects out of the preliminary round, 13 projects out of the preliminary round, 14 projects out of the final round of the competition.

 

Congratulations to the group of students from Vien Dong College was success in the group of students working on the project. There was student Pham Ngoc Thong - a 2nd-year student of Business Administration who was also an excellent student. The Marketing Administration major has just received the Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Student in 2022 from the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and is in charge of the financial sector for the project.

 
 
The pride of Vien Dong College for being the only non-public school in the southern region with the youngest history has been able to compete with schools with decades of Vien Dong's history in the competition and many years of experience and other activities.
 
 
The program “Startup ideas for students and vocational education students”- Startup Kite 2022 will be the premise to equip students with the knowledge to help students be proactive and creative in starting a business. Moreover, we expect to explore production and business ideas associated with community benefits, environmental protection, and economic and social development policy.
